The Computing Service manages the central computing resources and the network links inside and outside the National Laboratories of Frascati, taking care also of the installation and of the developing.
Particularly:
- it manages the Local Area Network, the link to the Wide Area Network, the Mass Storage systems, the basic services, the computing farms, and the application servers.
- it provides support to the users for any problem related to the access to the computing resources and to the Local Area Network.
- it provides support to the Business Computing team of the INFN Administration.
The Service is organized in three Units:
