Network access

The LNF network is accessible only via authentication.

INFN personnel may access to the wi-fi network INFN-dot1x with the username and password assigned by their unit or by using their X.509 certificate.

An EDUROAM wi-fi network is also available.

Users with an active position at LNF, who need a LNF account and/or an IP address may submit a request to the Computing Center by filling the following forms:

1. account request form
2. IP address request form

Account owners must attend the mandatory IT Security Course.

External users

External users may apply for a “visitor access” to the INFN-WEB WiFi network. To get the credentials they must register in the INFN Identity Management System following these instructions (IT, EN). They must apply for “IT – resources“, specify in the message field “wi-fi access“, and contact the secretariat for identity verification and activation of credentials (which will be the same created during the registration).
